I love you Mum
My Mum passed away peacefully in her sleep about half an hour ago.
A new angel spread it's wings.
I feel... relieved. She is not suffering and knowing that feels good.
Thank you all for your support - you have no idea how much it has helped me when I needed it most.

Heaven is a little brighter this evening Ann...she's in good hands now...no more pain, just pure euphoria.
HUGS. The next few days will be hard.

That candle I lit this morning is still burning -- and your mother is still part of the larger universe, though surely to be sorely missed by those who love her.
Be as kind to yourself in the coming days and weeks as you would be to the mother you mourn.
My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but I am so glad that your Mum is no longer in pain. She will still always be there when you need her, just in a different place.

My heart goes out to you and your family. I'm so happy that you had the opportunity for you and your daughter to spend time with your mother, I know that time was precious. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Take care of yourself!
Much love,
Tia

Condolences from a lurker. My sister-in-law, in Townsville, is terminal with similar cancer to your mums.
I'm glad that you and your daughter got to visit with her recently and that she was well enough to enjoy that visit with you both. It'll be memories for your daughter.
Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
